Anyone playing BF 2142 ?
Any problems while connecting to EA servers ?
god, once i updated the game i was able to play & 1 day after that , nothing … I cant get past the select soldier profile …
And i get this error ” BF 2142 , your connection to the EA server has been lost ” .
now i got all ports required forwarded to my ip … i just dont understand what went wrong !
Probably the total failures are doing some upgrades ?
it fixed it self the next day !
Probably EA or my ISP been trying to do some april fool story . heh

okay , another problem …
Symptoms :
After patching the game ( probably happens with any update version) EA PunkBuster kicks you out few seconds after joining a session game , no reason is given , the only feedback you will get is a black box that says PUNKBUSTER …
i tried updating PB but it wont work , after checking my PB log files i have found that it contains this error :
GLOBAL PunkBuster GUID BAN 8a02f1f0
which basically means that your serial number is being used on more than 1 PC ( dont worry , its a glitch within EA servers , doh)
follow the instruction on how to re-add your serial and fix your registry …

NOTE : sometimes it even happens without patching or updating the game ! so try it out , nothing to lose !
