Really impressive Imagination is only the limit to what can be done with surface. But, will we be able to see some real applications soon?!

I haven’t seen an Apple screen that can interact with devices like MS Surface, while object interaction there is Sony device like Minority Report tech, and Philips Entertaible that is an electronic board game.
Multi-Touch screen is known form the 80′s, Apple iPhone is not the first device with Multi-Touch screen, Microsoft was researching Multi-touch, they had something called Touchlight that was sold to EON Reality Inc.
By the way, maximizing and minimizing an Image on a Multi-Touch screen was first demonstrated by Jeff Y.Han in 2006 at TED (Technology Entertainment Design) conference, So Apple also steals ideas.
Microsoft is going to provide MS Surface to big companies like T-Mobil, if an individuals want one that gona cost form $5,000 to $10,000
